It’s been a real fun shoot that I did with Naomi.

It was a sunny Sunday but the weather was still a bit chilly at the Rose Gardens. Braving the cold, Naomi came with some GUESS gears for the shoot and I must admit that being a GUESS fan myself, as for shooting, I had a lot of fun.

We spent the the whole shoot playing with different parts of the Rose Garden and ended by the fountain when the sun became to set..

Naomi is such a dedicated girl and is involved in several charity organizations in Canberra, I found in her a lot of energy that she put in what she does and would really recommend Naomi for any modeling work if you need someone you can rely on.

Tamara is an emerging young freelance model, full of talent and joy and it was really fun to do a shoot with her.
We had a session out at the rose gardens of the Old Parliament House, in Canberra, with a rather chilly weather.
Very determined and committed, Tamara surprised me with her professionalism in posing in the cold weather, always with a smile.
Aside from modelling, Tamara studies at Uni and is said to have some talents in singing as well.
No doubt that you’ll hear from her very soon on a catwalk near you.

Stefania started modelling at a very young age and I already had the fun to work with her a couple times.
It is true to say that she is very comfortable in front of the camera and needs very few direction. It’s always fun to work with such talent and each time, we had fun.

I plan to do a few more shoots with Stef so check back often.

Tomi is a fun girl that I discovered at the last Canberra Wedding Fair. She is very fun to work with and is promised to a bright career in the fashion industry.
It’s a name to remember.

May is one of the contestants for my NNTM (Nomad’s Next Top Model) contest a couple months ago.
Because of the nature of the selection, voting by the public through Facebook, May didn’t break through the stage 2 of the contest.
However, I saw in her the potentials and talents of a great model.
Not only May has the look, she also has the attitude and patience to make it work.
The shoot happened in a quite chilly afternoon but May never complained and the images really show her talents.
The make up is from, now my regular favorite make up artist, Isma Majeed.

I shot this session with only one body (Canon 5D Mark II) and one lens (Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L) and used my brand new Profoto AcuteB2 AirS kit witha 16″ beauty dish, interior silver, no sock.

I discovered Jane once again through NNTM and saw in her the potential of a great model.
We had an opportunity to work together once for the promo shoot for NNTM and I took her out for another fashion shoot.
As I mentioned, I like shooting outdoor and this shoot was one of them.

I used a Hasselblad H4D40 for the outdoor shoot and a Canon 1D Mark IV for the studio promo shoot.
Lighting gears are Profoto.

I discovered Sam during a wedding and I’d say that I am happy that I approached her to shoot her.
Sam is very easy going and would do whatever to get that shot.
She is fun, dynamic and always ready for the next shoot.
As a bonus, Sam has an awesome ink.

Sky is a young talent who is on the rising path of the fashion industry.
Reserved but not shy in front of the camera, she will put herself in the shoot to get the perfect shot.

Claire started her modelling career with a fun shoot with me a few months back and now is one of the rising stars in the fashion industry.

Liam Hall is a well known name in the fashion and modeling industry in Canberra.
I had set up a few projects to shoot with Liam but he was always booked for some shoot.
I finally get to shoot Liam in a mega project, M3. It was the last of the 4 chapters of my Project M series.
The make up is by Brittany Knowles and the hair is done by Bree and The Pink Diamond Hair team.

Lauren contacted me for a portfolio shoot and when we first met, I saw a lot of potentials in her.
A bit shy at the time of the shoot, we had a lot of fun and despite the cold, she stood up for it and we managed to create some nice images with different looks.
Dave Reid was in charge of the make up and hair and the initial 2 hour shoot lasted … 4.5 hours. Time flies when you have fun.
Lauren now is very “in to it” and started building a solid portfolio with a few other photographers in Canberra.
No doubt that she will be in high demand in a very near future.

Ali is more than just a model, she is the one that won the FTV Diamonds Awards by the end of 2009 in Canberra.
I met Ali on Facebook and have planned to do a shoot with her for quite a while.

After some busy time with my wedding photography, I finally found time to set up a shoot with her.

All that I can say is that Ali deserves the price of FTV Diamond Model Awards Canberra.

This girl is just amazing and she just makes anything look good.

We had a long day shoot and Ali showed that she can be very professional, even after 6 hours waiting on the set.

By the end of the day, even slapped on make up by Dave, Ali still shines by her look and beauty.

I’m having some other major projects in planning and I can already tell that Ali is the one on my top list.

Effie is an amazing Greek Beauty from Canberra. I stumble upon Effie in the virtual world and saw the potential of her beauty and asked her for a shoot.
In our busy schedule, I had to postpone the shoot once but finally found some time to do the shoot. All I can say is that it was really fun and Effie is a joy to shoot. Her style look, style and humor are to die for.
We were lucky enough to have the very talented Vanessa Fernandez as make up and hair stylist.
The shoot was really awesome and we all had a good time.

No doubt that there will be more shoots with Effie and Vanessa in the near future. For now, appreciate the beauty of a Greek Bomb.

Felissa is an inspiring model who has been in the industry from the age of 14.

After a long break to concentrate on her studies, Felissa is doing a Commerce Degree at the UC (University of Canberra) and wants to get back to modeling as often as she could.

The MUA (MakeUp Artist) for the shoot had a car break down and we had to do the shoot with barely no make up. It just shows how her natural beauty needs minimum enhancements.

Felissa came to the shoot with her brother, Chris, who is doing a double degree of Psychology at the ANU (Australian National University). I’m just thinking that models have more than just a look.

Special thanks to Vincent to allow us shoot in his brand new house.

Daisy is a gorgeous girl from the UK.

I know her by “accident” as she’s a friend of a friend.

When asked to model for me, Daisy was really excited about the idea and was really willing to do it.

I talked her through a few things that I had in mind and she said: “it’s not in may taste but I’ll come up with something from my wardrobe”.

I’d say that I’m not disappointed at all of what Daisy came up with as outfit and shoes.

We had the chance to have Dave Reid, the Diva of Make Up (www.makeupbydave.com), to style Daisy.

What came out is a photo shoot in the backyard of my place in pitch black autumn sky of Canberra.

Michelle is a young yet very talented model that I enjoyed to shoot very much.
It’s during a session with Robert Coppa that I took these few photos of Michelle during her break.
The make up is done by the Diva of MUAs: Dave REID and Biljana Popovska styled the hair.

Soph-Ea is an amazing model that I had the joy to photograph at several times… (twice … so far !)

She actually drove down to Canberra from Ingleburn (about two hour drive) for our shoot.

We did the shoot for about two hours and Soph drove back home.

It was a bit cold but Soph is a real deal in term of modeling so we had a lot of fun.

This shoot happened during a very cold day and the way the models performed (Rachelle Wood was with us for this shoot as well) with a high level of professionalism.
This is my first shoot with Emma and I’d say that Emma did a long way from this shoot.
I had the pleasure to do the fashion shoot for Your Local Wedding Guide Magazine (Bridal Magazine, Canberra edition) where Emma featured as one of the models.
She is now the face of Myer Canberra.

Another shoot in the cold.
I had some fun shooting Rachelle and Emma at the same time for this session.
It was still cold and the models performed outstandingly.

This is the second time I shot with the combo Canon 5D Mark II + 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM and the Nikon D700 + 70-200 f2.8 AF-S VR ED.
I also used some off camera flash with a pair of Radio Popper.

For this shoot, I also had the pleasure to have a special guest: my Dad.
Mom and Dad came from France for a short visit and Dad spent the morning with us, my brother Vincent, and I for the shoot.

Model and Athlete Katrina Lewis is one of my favorite models.

She is very fun to work with and is really willing to work hard to take the shot.

I enjoyed very much shooting Katrina and had two shoots with her in two days.

Unfortunately, Katrina had a boat accident when celebrating NYE 2009 with friends down the coasts.

We all wish her to get better soon and look forward in shooting more with her.

A particular and fun shoot with the beautiful model Elizabeth Payne and her handsome boyfriend Sam Rooney.

We met up at the Brickworks in Yarrallumla for this shoot and had a kinda dark theme.
